I just want MTL to put a bullet in the zombie. We have no business being in the playoffs this year and even if MTL was to actually lose the next 2 outright, you know we arent going on a heater and win every game in regulation from here on out.
No sense in putting us in the 16th overall draft pick slot yet again too. Yuck!

Point stands, but it doesn't have to be in regulation, we just have to win the four in any fashion to get to 57. We have the h2h with the Habs.

Montreal is just so bad. Flames really blew it only going 3-2 against them in those last 5 games. If the Habs find a way to get a point then who cares if the North starts later than the States as the Leafs and Oilers look poised to sweep the Habs and Jets who are pure garbage.

The h2h is something like the fourth tie breaker. But the flames own all the other tie breakers pretty handily. The only scenario the flames don't make it is if they win all 4 in a shout-out.

Even if they scrape through the third here, there is going to be some money on the board from a few people in that organization to choke away Wednesday.
