Kane Williamson's record as captain in all formats is now 8-1, the only loss in a T20 against Pakistan in January.

I'm not sure how to embed non-youtube videos, but here is the highlight package from the game:

India - 146/7
Bangladesh - 145/9

Last over, last 3 balls - 3 wickets gone for Bangladesh.

Brilliant innings by Virat Kohli as India beat Australia and move on to the Semi Finals. Best batsman in the world.

India vs West Indies
England vs New Zealand

As predicted Kohli and the Indians were too much for the Aussies at home. It was a good effort by Australia but in the end they just don't have the quality spin bowling you need to win in the Subcontinent.

Also, the big news of the day is Afghanistan beating the Windies! I know the Windies has a reputation for not showing up in meaningless games but this is still a huge upset. Actually, I think I've found a winning strategy for Australia going forward: entice Afghan bowlers to move to Australia.

Great, cool under pressure, innings by Viraat Kohli! Should be an interesting game against the West Indies now, but India has the momentum.

England beat the Kiwis rather easily to advance to the Finals.

NZ - 153/8 in 20 overs
England - 159/3 in 17.1 overs

India vs West Indies tomorrow in the other Semi-Final.

Wow, the Kiwis looked so good in the tournament, I did not think they would crash out that badly.

It was certainly an odd decision to not start with the spin bowlers, the game was pretty much over after England's first 5 overs.

Yeah the kiwis tried to outmuscle the English with pace, but that was the wrong track to do it on. Good for England, they have had a rough time in the recent past.

Well I was wrong about the Indians. I want to call them big chokers but to be fair the Windies are a great team who are probably the best in the world a chasing down a big total.

West Indies win the T20 World Cup beating England in grand fashion. Last over 19 needed, Carlos Brathwaite (no relation to Freddie ) hits 4 straight sixes to end it.

Deserved winners.

DJ Bravo -Champion. Really catchy tune. Pays homage to Micheal Jordan, Mandela, Brian Lara, Serena Williams, Usain Bolt amongst others.

Fitting after their recent LOI run.
