Might be a bit of a distance for only a week trip, but Curacao is nice. The catch is you'd have to connect in YYZ.

WestJet flies direct to Belize, that might be cool.

Can I drive in France, Germany, Austria, Italy and Luxembourg with an Alberta drivers license?

You can get an International Drivers Permit at AMA. I've heard it's not legally required, but will make it easier to rent a car in some countries if you have one.

I think for the above countries it really isn't necessary. On my last trip to Europe I drove in Croatia and Italy no problem with rentals using my regular license.

I've never had to provide one(never pulled over) but for the marginal cost of it, I think it's worth having. It serves as a translation card so if you get pulled over by a cop that doesn't speak English(it has several languages in it), they don't have to wonder where Alberta is, and can use the IDP to verify your license.
I've driven in all those countries without issue though.

Great addition imo, Seoul is a fantastic city to visit. We loved our time there.

Hopefully they can expand their Korean Air codeshare to offer other destinations in Asia as well.

Stealing this answer from Airliners.net:
"It’s 4 extra weekly frequencies compared to S23. LGW freed up 7, and they’ve added back 4 to NRT, 2 to FCO, 1 each to EDI/BCN and now 3 to ICN.
Also the press release doesn’t say if this is seasonal, just that it’s starting next summer. Be curious if this ends up starting as a year-round route."
