I liked it. It was definitely targeted at fans of the original trilogy.
So, 50 years and still a baby. Does that mean yoda was a teen when he was 500? I guess there is no real-life analogy to that kind of life span.

Well I guess that Yoda lived to about 850. What if their whole life span was reflected in that, and they were an infant for 100 years. Can you imagine the landfills and diaper waste?
Puberty would be like a painful 150 years.

Yeah, see I always thought Yoda was old at 850, but you never know how they change things up with new star wars. However, let's say he was the equivalent of 85 when he died and its a linear comparison to a normal human lifespan, then really he should only be a baby for 10 years, not 50 or 100.
Are all of Yoda's people space wizards, or is it just a select few like other races? If it is the latter, I'm thinking this is a Yoda clone. And I mean a real clone (genetic copy), not a star wars clone (genetically engineered).

What was funny was how much Yoday aged between Revenge of the Sith and his death. Which was only what 50 years? Maybe it was the fact that he lived in a swamp.
As far as the Yoda species, its still unknown. At one point Fans thought they were Whills which were like an ancient order of Shamans and probably all force users. But Lucas shot that down saying no one knows what the Whills look like, and we dont know what Species they are, but we did see another one on the council in TPM, who was Yaddle.
I have this funny feeling that this has something to do with Palpatine as the doctor was wearing a Kaminoian logo on his uniform. Maybe they need force sensitive DNA, or a midiclorian transplant or something like that, and since the last epsiode isn't due out until after the release of the last movie, maybe they're going to link things.

That simultaneously explains why Yoda's species seems so rare in the series and why Yoda is so comfortable living in a filthy swamp. Conditions on his homeworld must be nasty.

After I watched the Mandalorian, I watched some of the Lego Star Wars stuff, just because they made Palpatine such a complete butthole.

Just wanted to update the thread here, apparently Pedro Pascal has spoiled The Mandalorians name by accident. I have no idea if it has ramifications with the seasons arc, but I am going to guess it does.
Let's make sure not to mention the name in here. I did not click the link just read the title and was able to confirm it by finding the same title at various news outlets.
Let's keep it secret, keep it safe for all.

I don't think Luke and Leah were supposed to be 50 in Return of the Jedi, were they? I think it was more like 30 years since they were born at the end of Revenge of the Sith. So what do we know about Yoda's people's lifespan?
0 to 50 - baby
50 - 800 - ?
800 - 820 - old, but can still do flips and stuff
840 - 850 - really old/dead

It was an awesome Nazi's in hiding and Nazi gold homage; the way they reveal the piece of metal with the imperial logo stamped on and Herzog's accent just brilliant.
Loved what we saw. Watching how dangerous the IG droid was was great, we've seen a couple trashed by the Jedi in the Clone Wars series and this adds perspective.

My favourite part was seeing APOLLO CREED in the first episode. I thought Ivan Drago killed him in Rocky IV!

He definitely isn't looking like he is in fighting shape.

Yeah, I goofed man. ROTS took place 19 BBY
ROTJ 4 years ABY.
So 24 years. Which means Yoda really aged badly in the end
