I expect the devils to fire John Hynes soon if the Devils continue to loose. Yes he just got extended but something has to give.

Doesn't help the narrative in Jersey that Hughes doesn't have a point after 6 games either.

This is the first time in my memory, that the 'Hawks weren't on the back end of a back to back to play a rested Oil.

As far as "bottom feeder", the 'Hawks have a 1st class offense, and a bad AHL defense.

If Hirshier is injured for any amount of time, Hughes had better discover a scoring touch somewhere.

Haven’t watched any of an oil game until tonight. Now I see why they are scoring goals. By my count the PP1 line of 1 defenseman (Klefbom) and McDavid, Draisaitl, Neal and RNH was on for 1:45 of that last powerplay in the first. Talk about all of your eggs in one basket...

I don't understand why they keep shooting high glove against Smith.

Yeah somehow I drafted him in my Yahoo pool. Gonna be a long season. I wouldn't be surprised to see Samsonov getting some consecutive starts if his play doesn't pick up soon.

Mike Smith’s temptation to play the puck sees him second guess, get caught out, and unable to set. 2-0 Hawks

Ha. Ha. Kassian punches a Chicago D in the face. No penalty. Shortly after that, 8 players on the ice for the Oilers, including one over in the middle of the ice and another by the far boards. No call. I bet the Hawks would have been called even if they didn't touch it. Remenda twists himself in a knot to justify a non-call.

Whatever. Smith out playing by himself and the Hawks score! And now a PP for the Hawks. Go Hawks!

Yeah that too many men non-call was ridiculous.

That’s twice in the 3rd period now that the Oilers should have been shorthanded, the way too many men and the Kassian punch to Murphy’s face. Some how no call on either.

At least Smith hasn't made any "scorpion" saves, so far. Unlike his stoning of Anisimov in that game in Calgary, last season!

That’s a bizarre ketchup bottle ad digitally superimposed on the glass, with the bottle angled down in pouring position but the label vertical.

Remenda is a moron. Earlier, he said something along the lines of, 'isn't the nhl great getting to watch the second best player EVER behind Gretzky''

McDavid 'might' be the current best player but pump the brakes a bit.

Mcwhiny takes a clean hit from De Haan and slashes him like a little beyotch and then Nurse comes in and goes full cave man.
