[Rumour] Adidas may replace Reebok jersey branding

Though the NFL jersey collars have that as "flywire" a functional feature, to prevent the jersey from stretching at the neck line. The hockey "laces" are purely for show.

I think Adidas has done NCAA college jerseys in the past, and, who knows if some of the NHL designers come over from Reebok...I don't expect an automatic design change league wide.

ALso, I have always thought the Rangers current road jersey is perfect for Adidas branding...3 stripes are already there on the back neckline, with the branding right in the middle of it.

I am not a fan of this.

Adidas/Reebok own all the major sports brands, including CCM. They should leave Adidas to their traditional markets (soccer and basketball), and let CCM be their hockey brand.

There's economic benefits for adidas to have their name since it'll give their presence to hockey fans.
