Ilya Nikolayev was sent down to Rapid City and scored a goal in his 1st game on March 30th.

Ha.. missed that. Was so used to not seeing him in the Wranglers lineup, I forgot about him.

Rapid City's season is over. Tied for last place in the Mountain Division. Whoever's under contract to the Wranglers/Flames will likely head to Calgary to join the Black Aces.

The main bright spot from this EHCL season has been seeing that despite a quite miserable team, both the Wranglers-contract goaltenders have been decent IMO. If you had asked me at the start of the season, Radomsky is who I would have bet on, but Murphy's success up a level has been very pleasantly surprising.
