It’s one thing to be a pathetic joke fanboy member of the media, but the thin skin on the “horny toads” like Staples, Spector and Jones is beyond belief.
Francis is a joke. But I’ve never seen him take criticism of the Flames on social media and defend the Flames against detractors. Maybe I’m wrong though.
Of course this is an order of magnitude of difference compared to resorting to conspiracy theories.

Staples is perhaps the one guy I wouldn't feel bad bullying/humiliating the #### out of in real life.
And that behavior is generally against my moral compass. Definitely not me 98% of the time.
But he's such a hypocritical, delusional moron that advocates urinating in sinks and insulates himself from even the remotest disagreement that I'd make an exception for him and I'd relish the #### out of the opportunity.
The Oilers weren't complaining about the amount of games in days. Emily Cave scheduled the memorial which was known around the league as teams and players, and players wives tuned in and sent gifts (Vegas, Boston, Chicago among others) and 4 days later the NHL put it on the same day when it could easily have been played the following day on Sunday. It's just the timing of it. McDavid and the Cave's are really close and the emotion of seeing a friends memorial got to him. Personally, I do feel the game could have been played on Sunday as well but the outcome wouldn't have changed and that's not what was being challenged.
No excuses whatsoever. The Oilers got badly outplayed and deserved to lose.
Individual Oilers maybe, but I doubt the team is complaining. After all would not they have agreed to it?
