He's nowhere near close to Reilly or BLM and IMO is Kevin Glenn V2. Will put up eye opening stats at times but not back them up with wins or clutch play. He's never beaten (one tie game) the Stamps ever as the QB of the Argos or Redblacks and that's because the Dickenson knows if you pressure him he wilts;

Those who believe otherwise note that in 2018, Harris only completed 48% of his passes on 2nd down and 39% of his pass attempts beyond 20 yards. They point out that when pressured, his lack of mobility leads to unnecessary sacks, bad decisions and off-target throws.
|
He's basically the exact opposite of clutch. Can't complete passes on 2nd and long and can't make big plays when games are on the line.

Looks like the Stamps have put in a claim on Global RB Asnnel Robo from MTL. He should join the PR soon.

Sorry I may have missed it, how come MTL doesn't want him?

With Kavis Reed running things, there could be any number of reasons.
Huf must see something in him though as I thought the RB position was pretty solid already in Calgary.

Stamps team captains for 2019 have been announced:
Bo Levi Mitchell, Brandon Smith, Jamar Wall and Rene Paredes will serve as the Stampeders’ team captains for the 2019 Canadian Football League season. The four were chosen as a result of a player vote.

I think they have to have one of these players on the roster and that kicker was just awful so maybe they can use this guy on special teams.

Kevin Glenn is hanging them up...He had a fine career in the CFL and I hope he enjoys retirement.

Say what you want about Glenn's ability to win big games, but over 50k yards and almost 300 TD passes is an impressive feat. I'm grateful for the two years where he stepped in for the Stamps and was steady enough to keep them at their usual spot atop the CFL standings.

For many seasons, I’ve considered Kevin Glenn as the ultimate 1b Quarterback

To call Kuklas’ first season pro ‘unconventional’ would be a tad understated. A free agent signing in December of 2017 following five seasons at the U of C modelling Dinos red, he spent three months on the Stamps’ practice roster a year ago before being released on Sept. 7.
“Last year became a numbers-situation with his PR spot,’’ reminds Stamps’ receiving coach Pete Costanza. “We needed another body on defence and Mike became the expendable guy.
“It wasn’t as if he did anything wrong.
“The situation last year was hard all the way around. Hard on him. Hard on the guys in the locker room – his teammates love him. Hard on the coaches, because we saw how much he wanted it.
“Coming back this year you can see more confidence, which allows him to play fast. His comfort level is greater. He’s making plays and you can spot that look: ‘Well, s—-, I belong out here.’
“He’s a kid, even in a walk-through, who’s going 100 MPH. It’s love for the game. The kid just loves the game. So it’s good to see him back and having success; that his labour of last year, the perseverance he showed and the desire to improve, is providing rewards right now.”

I’d be a happy man if the Riders lose every game this season, starting tonight.
