Sitting her late on a Christmas night, where I had no events and no family get togethers, after having a christmas dinner of a home made chicken stew and now sipping on a bailey's and milk, while watching a Harry Potter Marathon, that 2020 will go down as a weird year of interruptions to all of our lives, and that we'll all get through it. Maybe, just maybe things will go back to normal next year. I don't know, I think the world has been Ir-retreivably changed. That the things that maybe we held so dear in years past are things that we have to let go of and forge new ways.
I hope you all had a great day, that those of you with families held them a little tighter this year, and enjoyed the day, and did new and interesting things together that wouldn't have happened last year.

Bought my Senior parents a smartphone for Christmas, their first ever, contract paid for too. 75 and 73, yes Seniors are still around in the Covid world.
My phone is now in the bathroom at home. They wont stop calling and texting.
I think they like their gift.
Covid has really made this such a terrible year. Mom and Dad thoroughly enjoyed Christmas though.
Even being alone!
Alone and apart they felt more connected to family than ever.
Yes Dad the phone does work outside. You can drive ten miles away and it will still work. They love the gift.
My Dad was just blown away by this gift. He became a kid again at 75. How do I do this and that. Super annoying. Yet it took his mind away from Covid and a sucky Christmas. We talked more today than we have for the entire year.
I am very close to my parents, yet not this year.
Dad always complains I spend too much on gifts. Not one complaint today.
Most expensive gift ever.
It is not about the money. It is about family.
My parents loved Christmas this year. Despite covid they had an awesome Christmas. 20 year old grand kids trying to teach them how to use a smartphone too. It was hilarious. In a good way! They are 1500 miles away.
I never expect this reaction from my parents.
I had a great Christmas just because they had a great Christmas.
Alone they were, yet talked for hours.
Good night all. Covid did not kill Christmas. One of the best I ever had.
Hope you all had a great Christmas too.
