Well deserved choice however.

Finally?
Unless you're like 14 or younger, then you've already been Time's Person of the Year

It's crazy how you could make a case in a year like this for Donald Trump, George Floyd, RBG, Joe Biden, Cuomo, Fauci, Boris Johnson, Greta Thunberg, Bill Gates, Firefighters, etc. but this is by far the greatest choice. Just gives you an idea of how much has happened this year.

Person of the year is a dubious award like the Nobel peace prize, if you're one of histories greatest monsters, you're practically a shoe in to win it.

Hitler, Stalin (x2), Khrushchev, Putin, Nixon. I guess it's not "Best" Person of the Year.
Not all past winners age well.

Great choice.
Like Police, Firefighters & other first responders after 9/11, frontline medical staff are also selfless heroes. Problem is it takes a tragedy like COVID or 9/11 to remind us all of that fact.

Kissinger doesn't get enough credit for championing the US foreign policy of perpetual war, he deserves to be up there with the big boys.

I thought Time has stated multiple, well, times that the POTY does not equal ‘best’. It is the person who was ‘in the news the most’ ...or most influential ...or most noteworthy.
It’s not supposed to be an MVP award.
