I didn't ask why people bet on Cowboys games. I don't get why people consistently talk themselves into taking them against the spread. Look at this thread. It was the same last year. Just... stop trying to kick that football, Charlie Brown.

Obviously now that they're the Dalton Cowboys people are going to be less inclined to bet on them, although to be honest I don't know that it makes that big a difference. With Dak they were about a 7-9, 8-8 team and I think that's probably about what they'll end up being with Dalton.

Help me out! I'm considering picking the 0-5 Giants in my survivor pool.

I have used the Bills, Bucs, Colts, Ravens and Steelers. The Chargers, Raiders, Saints and Seahawks are on byes.

KC is playing Buffalo - so not gonna look at KC.
Green Bay is playing Tampa - so not gonna look at GB.

Rams/Niners is division weird, injuries, and I don't fully trust the Rams.
Titans/Texans - is TN coming off of Covid and playing tonight, so...prefer not to pick that game.
Not picking the Browns over the Steelers.
Not picking the Eagles over the Ravens.
Not picking NE's COVID weirdness over the Broncos, I'd also like to save NE for later.
I would prefer to avoid picking the Vikings/Falcons game - Atlanta coming off a coach change and MN without Cook.
I'm not taking the Bengals over the Colts.
I guess I could consider picking the Panthers over the Bears but...I guess I don't trust Carolina yet.

That leaves three games.

I would prefer to stay away from picking the Dolphins because they really do lay the weird eggs in these kind of games, and it's a division game, but that is still on my list. Lions /Jags - DJ Chark prob out, Lions off a bye, that's on my list too.

So it's the Giants!

Why would you waste your pick on that?

Miami has basically no future value after this week. Take them. Or the Lions.

Also Minny would be fine. Their backup RB was running fine last week. ATL is a tire fire.

Rams are probably an easy take this week too. They rolling and SF is hot garbage with their injuries.

I would take the Vikings. They looked really quite good for most of the game on Sunday. Even without Cook they moved the ball.

I have switched to the Dolphins for now. Just feels weird to let it ride on Fitzpatrick

That is a reasonable play. Everyone should be able to beat the Jets. I actually picked up Fitzpatrick for my fantasy team this week as my qb is on a bye week.

I went 2-3 last week, bringing me to 18-21 on the year. Spreadsheet pulled a 6-7-1 to bring it to 37-31-9 for the year.

I'm on a lot of games this week, which usually means I'm about to get my ass kicked.

TB ML
TEN -3.5
IND -8
MIN -4
BAL -7.5
JAX +3
PIT -3.5
SF +3.5

Survivor this week! I have already used the Bills, Bucs, Colts, Ravens, Steelers and Dolphins.

Saints against Panthers or Chiefs against Broncos or Rams against Bears? Or something else?

Saints may not have Thomas again but are coming off a bye. But there's questions there, Brees' arm etc.

Chiefs look solid but they burned people a few weeks back badly, and this is another division opponent. And if I can find someone else I can use them against the Jets next week...

Rams on Monday night against the Bears? May come down to how real everyone feels the Bears are at this point. Rams should be salty after they got boatraced by the 49ers.

The survivor group I am alive in started with 28 and is down to 6.

I am leaning Rams, but open to a discussion.

Down to 6 as well in mine. The 6 of us have picked the same team the last 3 weeks (whoever is playing the jets). I'll probably be going with the bills.

Saints, Rams, or Chargers are also good picks.

Chicago is 5-1...not so sure picking them to lose is a great idea. They have a decent defence.

When else are you going to get a better chance to take the Chargers outside of when they play the Jets? I'd go with them here. Every week Jacksonville looks more like the team most thought they were.

I'm not one to advocate for the Chiefs...but they have been good on the road against the Division. They have been better on the road than at home the past two seasons. They do play the Jets later in the season too though.

Yeah, I neglected to list the Chargers and should have. I just feel a certain way about resting my hopes on a rookie QB who hasn't had a win yet, but this is a potentially ripe spot to use them.

Didn't have time to F around with the spreadsheet this week, so I'm flying blind. Not like it's been doing that great for me this year anyways.

GB -3.5
ATL -2.5
BUF -11
DAL -1
LAR -6
ARI +3.5

GB may be a dicey bet this week Rube. Aaron Jones is out along with one of his backups, 3 starting O linemen are out, One of the Smith bros is likely out and the other is questionable. Tonyan also sounds very questionable along with Mercedes Lewis.

Also I think the lack of real WRs was exposed last week against the Bucs. Take away Adams and there is very little there.

Defense is sketchy right now...so you are looking at A-Rod carrying the load which we all know he can and has done, but Im not sure i'd be putting money on it.

Edit: So Tonyan is in...that may help Rogers for sure.

I went with

Browns -3
Panthers +7 (not feeling great about this one}
Lions +2.5
Cards +3.5
KC -7.5
Titans -1.5

So I'll take the Chargers this week and the Chiefs next week!

And why is Rube still taking Dallas?

I took Buffalo in my survivor pool. Need the Jets to fall apart in the second half

So I had no idea that Houston is as bad as they are.

Rogers is just smashing them in the mouth and asking if they want more.
