Default Movies you dislike that everyone likes

Been a while since I've made a random thread. This is inspired by Doug Walker's (Nostalgia Critic) video. A interesting watch if you have the time:

What are your choices?

Most movies in the last 20 years have been mediocre.

My choice is the Phantom Menace. I know not everyone loves it, and most hate it, but never pass up an opportunity to state your hatred for The Phantom Menace.

Nothing comes to mind that I outright hated, but there are a lot of overrated films out there.

The Dark Knight for me too. Although, I don't think people really liked the movie as much as they liked Heath Ledger's performance.

I thought Hangover 1 contained the most laugh out loud moments ever.
Parts 2 and 3 were a complete waste of time though.

Ledger's performance sure distracted from his character's masterplan being a giant boring dud and the movie from being too long for sure.

Batman Begins is my favourite from that series easily.

Harry Potter. I've never watched it, but since it started at about the same time as the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I picked my allegiance and won't be convinced otherwise.

With the exception of Batman, this is exactly my answer.

Maybe 'hate' is too strong of a word ... but I only made it halfway through The Hurt Locker before turning it off due to boredom.

Daniel Craig's Bond movies. I'm not much into action to begin with, but he makes them unbearable.

I didn't like The Hurt Locker either. Way too Hollywood. I didn't think it's awful, but 6 Oscars? Seriously?

Hate is a rather strong word, but here is a list of moves I generally dislike more than othes.

The Hobbit movies (most people on this board seem to like them).
Harry Potter
Robocop
The Kill Bill movies
Death Proof
The Hangover
Fight Club
The Departed
Return of the Jedi (some good moments, many bad ones)
Full Metal Jacket
The Shining
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Point Break
The Sixth Sense
A Beautiful Mind
Donnie Darko
The Graduate
Crash
Napoleon Dynamite
Slumdog Millionaire
Judd Apatow movies
Avatar
Superbad
Transformers (even the first one sucked)
Anchorman
Batman (the Tim Burton versions)
Tree of Life
Mystic River
Platoon
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
The Grudge
The Thin Red Line... or really anything with Sean Penn in it

Then of course there is Shawshank Redemption... a very good movie don't get me wrong, but it's not nearly the best so many claim it to be.
