Celebrated Square Root Day

Favorite Song; 90's edition
I'll leave Nirvana in here, even though it's a repeat, as a grunge list wouldn't be complete without them. Also, added Red Hot Chili Peppers even though they weren't as grungy, but the timing of their success kind of gets them put into that scene.
Also threw weezer in there, as they had a more straight edge, rock-ish sound in the 90's, as opposed to now.
And Radiohead, again, more about the timing of their success than their sound, and to make the list a little longer.
Pearl Jam -
Soundgarden -
Stone Temple Pilots -
Smashing Pumpkins -
Bush -
Alice in Chains -
Nirvana -
Red Hot Chili Peppers -
Weezer -
Foo Fighters -
Radiohead -
Janes Addiction -
Dinasaur Jr. -
Leatherface -
*edited thread title, so we can get to people's picks instead of nitpicking.

Where's Jane's Addiction?
Foo Fighters? They're good, but not grunge or very alternative. Just Dave Grohl's involvement? Maybe Grunge-inspired rock is as close as it gets.

Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins and RHCP aren't grunge either. You should just make it a 90's rock bands list.

Yeah, hence the notes I made in the OP. Went off track a bit to make the list a bit longer.
I'll add Janes Addiction, wasn't a fan myself.
Also, Foo Fighters debut album was most certainly grunge, then they went a different direction with the Colour and the Shape.

Nothing. Nothing good was played on an instrument or sung in that decade.

Were we supposed pick our favorite songs by the band during the titled decade ? That's what I tried to do in this thread and the 80's one...my lists would be a bit different if it was just the favorite song by the said band.
Between this thread and the 80's thread, the omission of Def Leppard is unacceptable
