How about Bat Paste? You boil a bat in water with spices then mash it into a paste. Consumed in parts of Thailand..

Spoiler!

I have tried Brain but you have to be really careful with it as you can get really sick if you dont cook it properly.

"fried chicken anus" in china is pretty gross.

I think the one that takes the cake is "virgin boy eggs" from some area of China. Basicly they collect all of the pee from the urinals at the kids school and boil eggs in the pee.

I was reading a book before that described some unusual Chinese delicacies. It was supposedly a non-fiction book.

There was one where they take a cow and lead it into a pond full of leaches. The leaches attached to the cow and once they are filled with blood, the leaches are removed from the dead cow and boiled. The leaches are then cut open and the congealed blood is eaten.

There was another where they let 2 dogs fight to the death and then eat the meat. Supposedly it makes the meat better.

One that I actually saw on a film was eating live baby mice. They put them in flour and let them squirm around for a bit before eating them alive.

Reminds me of one dish I read about where large cold cubes of tofu are dropped in boiling water. Live eels are then dropped in the water. The eels burrow into the cold tofu to escape the heat, and are cooked that way - self-stuffed tofu.

Another strange Japanese dish makes our list of bizarre foods in Asia. This dish, called Shirako in Japanese, is simply the male genitalia of fish that still contains all the fluids. They’re served all over the place, from Japanese pubs to sushi bars, and are very popular with the locals.
Couple more here: http://seetheworld.me/top-5-most-bizarre-food/

When I ate meat I loved liver.

Anyway, in the good ole USA, in a farm outside of Charlottesville a bunch of upscale folks brought their families (including kids) to watch a pig being slowly tortured because it tastes better that way, and the pig "understands and accepts" what is happening to it. jeez.

I know it doesn't count, but I used to eat bell peppers like an apple, wash it and take a bite. That was until I bit into one that looked normal but was extremely rotten, can't eat them anymore. Thinking about the taste makes me gag a little.
