I put Morrissey on in my car as an external conduit for the surging melancholy, and as I wound my way through the neurotic Hollywood hills, the narrow lanes and tight bends were a material echo of the synaptic tangle where my thoughts stalled and jammed.

Morrissey, as ever, conducted a symphony, within and without and the tidal misery burgeoned. I am becoming possessed. The part of me that experienced the negative data, the self, is becoming overwhelmed, I can no longer see where I end and the pain begins. So now I have a choice

The article would have been a lot more effective if he'd just concentrated on conveying an accurate description of addiction and less time indulging his love of his own cleverness.

So they rounded up a few dealers after his death. Makes you wonder if they would have bothered if it was a hooker found dead.

Doubtful. In fact if it was any other junky but a celebrity the police wouldn't have turned a single stone in looking to find where the drugs came from.

Apparently the producer of ESPN's Dan Patrick show claims to be one of the last people to see Hoffman. He said he was walking home from dinner with his wife and sister Saturday night and they saw him walking towards them with a bag of groceries. His sister being a big fan said something like "hello I'm such a big fan" and he looked at her with a blank face and paused for seconds and then gave her a half high 5. They said he looked pretty bad and much older in person than his age would suggest and that he definitely looked like he wasn't all there.

Drake decides to go full ###### after Rolling Stone swaps him off the cover for Phillip Seymour Hoffman (story still ran).

Drake, is that the rapper who was on Degrassi, has an attorney for a mother, grew up with money and raps about being "hard" and uses ni**er in every song?

So sick of these poser rap ######bags.

Not a fan of Drake's, but do we know that he made that comment because he was taken off the cover, or because he felt that Rolling Stone misquoted him?

It sounds like he's mad about being misquoted. "That's the only way my message gets across accurately."

From what he said it doesn't seem like it has anything to do with the cover.

His initial tweets, which naturally were deleted, were

Quote:
I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone. They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue.
Quote:
I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil
Not very smart but its so chicken #### to delete them. He has 14 million followers, did he not expect someone to pick up on that one?

What a great observation. Sums up Russel Brand perfectly.
