Default Sid Caesar dies at 91

He was hospitalized for a long time. RIP, Sid.

Maybe one of the most under-rated comedians of all time. RIP.

when Mel Brooks calls you "the funniest man America has produced to date", that's like being elevated to godhood.

I only know him from his reputation, but he did give legends like Mel Brooks and Woody Allen their starts so he deserves respect. RIP

I feel bad in that the first thing that came to my mind when I heard this news was that the legend was he had a large unit.

If there was a way for me to be remembered after death, I'd choose this

For the comedians who had their own shows during that era, I preferred Jackie Gleason, Red Skelton and Milton Berle. Bob Hope for honourable mention and Sid was okay. Nice to see an old timer get some recognition though.
