It's between Waterloo by ABBA, and The Future by Leonard Cohen.

Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite is a close third.

3) The Logical Song - Supertramp
2) Streets of Philadelphia - Bruce Springsteen
1) Prayer For St. Francis - Sarah McLachlan

Honourable mentions from my "Twenty Star Songs" playlist: "Refugee" - Tom Petty, "Fast Car" - Tracy Chapman, "Winter" - Tori Amos, "Hazy Shade of Winter" - Simon & Garfunkel, "Losing My Religion" - REM, "Stairway to Heaven" - Led Zeppelin, "After the Gold Rush" - k.d. There are some that I think belong on that list, but again, like everyone has mentioned, it is so subjective. Some that DO belong on that list in my opinion only:

Smells Like Teen Spirit – Nirvana
Love Will Tear Us Apart – Joy Division
How Soon Is Now? – The Smiths
Blue Monday – New Order
God Only Knows – The Beach Boys

For me:

Miss You - Rolling Stones
The River - Bruce Springsteen

Those two would be on my list for sure. Have to give it some more thought for others.

I do Like a good number of these songs, but wouldn't consider most among the best.

Cool to see Oasis up there. But this list doesn't have enough classic rock tracks to satisfy people here looks like. For me personally, not enough Zeppelin (#### stairway, there's better).

Kashmir is such a divine track.

They hit it out of the stratosphere on Celebration Day, which was nominated for the best performance grammy this year and but lost to ####ing Imagine Dragons. Unbelievable performance.
