I'm looking for the best, cheapest, and most ethical way to destroy VHS tapes, I have about 15 boxes of VHS tapes of homemade pornography that I would like to destroy and guarantee is never seen again. Does anyone know of a cheap confidential service in Calgary or an easy method that one can do on their own?
Here is an example of why I need the tapes destroyed.
Spoiler!
Did you really click this you sick bastard. Its actually for work boxes of private surveillance tapes

A++ would read again. Sorry but why can't you just burn them?
The going rate has been per item. We have a contract with ERA and they wanted $5 per item -50% for the contract which is still costly. We are cheap and have been getting our mailroom to manually destroy them as they come back to us from storage at Iron Mountain. I just got thrown on this yesterday so Iron Mountain was looked at and deemed to costly.

Saw thread title, clicked on thread to make porn joke. Joke already made in OP, left feeling disappointed.

Burn them, that's we did in the past especially if you want to be 100% certain. We would pull out the reels and recycle the plastic but any tape of film was always burned.
