Actually I'd rather him play the whole season so the Oilers win enough to just miss the playoffs. This means they likely stay away from drafting top 3 which is good for us. The only players the Oilers can develop are #1 overall picks and they aren't even that great at that. Good news for us if they are drafting around 15th.

I am actually somewhat surprised that Prout or Peluso isn't dressed for this one tonight. Out of all the games that one would dress either player for, it would probably be this one. Will be interesting to see how the Flames respond if shenanigans break-out.

When a player gets traded and makes his debut for a team, that player usually has a tonne of energy and goes out with 'something to prove'. I think that Spooner's case, we can expect the opposite. "My God, why have you forsaken me? What did I do to deserve this?"

I don't hate any player to be honest. Hate is a very strong word. I just work with, and am surrounded by many Oiler fans. Seeing them without McDavid for a month or so would make me very happy.

Yeah I feel like it's going to be the same old bull####. 40 shots, they have 20. And Calgary loses.

If Smith were starting, I'd probably agree with you. But I think it'll be a different story tonight, as we'll have an actual NHL-caliber goaltender in net.

I'm glad Guerrero got a shot in on the guy, leave it to a no good Oiler fan to think wrestling is real and try to interfere.
Yup definitely real.

In Eddie’s book, he mentioned it was scripted for another wrestler to interfere in the match, which explains why the fan got past security and as far as he did. That hesitation from Eddie was just making sure he wasn’t Crash Holly. Eddie then threw a real punch when he realized he was a typical Oiler fan.

The frog thinks we win. He made a sound that sounded like 5-1.
