Nice to see Max get it back together. His dad was on TSN 1040 a week ago and didn't sound like he was too happy with the Flames and Max's opportunity. I don't know how he can blame anyone but Max, he didn't impress in training camp. Then he didn't impress for the first half of the season.

Getting pretty tired of father's blaming the organization when their kids don't make it. FLames have how many rookies in the lineup right now??

Didn't hear the interview, but if true then yeah, any prospect or their family that blame the Flames org for their short comings irritate the crap out of me.

Shut the hell up and just be better than the other prospects that are making it right now.

I hope the baby flames can finish their time in Adirondack on a high note. From what I've seen they have a very supportive fan bas e and it would be the perfect way to say thank you for their support before moving to Stockton.

Strong indications that Yonkman, McGrattan and Gillies will all retire shortly

Thanks!

I'm looking forward to Stockton where the start times aren't before I'm off work and I will be able to do a better job then what happened at the end of this year. Work unfortunately got in the way many, many times and I just didn't have time to do the coverage as well as before.

This... was not expecting this when the year started. I hope he gets a real shot at a roster spot this year.

In Wolf's case, I'm not sure the words "pleasant surprise" even cover the extent of what we got. I sort of liken it to the hype we heard with Roman Cervenka last yea, except actually realized.

Wolf has had an amazing year and none of it looked like it was due to luck or anything else arbitrary. He works hard, he is rewarded. I agree, I hope he gets a shot and honestly, I will be disappointed if he doesn't make the 4th line out of camp. I'm not going to get into a mud slinging about current NHL Flames, but I do believe he is an improvement on a couple of them.

I'm working on a little Adirondack Flames post mordem (will probably be a day or two) and it's amazing to see how he's either top of the stats or he's ahead of guy we would expect to be top like Poirier or Reinhart.

I like Wolf but I think he has to get in better shape to make the Flames. He was gasping pretty hard when he came up to Calgary. This off season will be big for him.
