Oh. My. God.

That second goal. That was something. Wow.

That pass from Alexander-Arnold, the control from Shaqiri and then his pass and then the touch from Salah....

That was something spectacular. No offense to West Ham, nobody is stopping that. Just beautiful.

What was that, end to end in 8 seconds?

1 attempt, none on goal. A Mourinho masterclass I guess. Where is the team we saw a couple months ago?

Is this Jose's third year? Because that one is always the lucky charm.

At this rate, we might not have to worry about that. I guess it’s confidence, but this is just a shell of what we saw this fall.

I dont know what to tell you. I dont like Mourinho and I was never a fan of Pochettino, but, similar to the Calgary Flames, you cant just keep rotating the guy at the top and expecting different results.

Maybe the problem is more deeply rooted than that?

I know its a fad to rag on Klopp, but look at the team he's built. Look at the attitude he has instilled. Its not as though he was air-dropped in to this team and all he had to do was turn the key and go.

Honestly, I have no idea why. At least a chunk of this is on him, if not all. I don’t know if he’s just plain lost the room or what’s going on. But Liverpool was in rough shape and hadn’t scored in a month...which we cured. Now Brighton hasn’t won at home in ages and we’re on our way to rectifying that.

And Lamela with the dumbest possible free kick.

Thst Lamela free kick had both zero chance of going in, and was by far the best chance of the game

That’s a huge win at the bottom of the table, the gap for the bottom three is pretty massive. It will take an impressive effort for one of them to get out of the relegation spots.

Well we can see that Spurs will do our part to close that gap with this style of play. We’re on 33 points so we should have enough to stay up, but never say never!

Funny seeing Sherwood critical after the game, haven't seen a spurs side so lifeless since Tim's reign as manager

Sherwood is basically a self-hating Spurs person. He almost never has anything good to say and revels in the manager (Poch before and Mourinho now), struggling.

Weird starting 11 today. Not surprised they didn't score.

Yeah, but it’s the setup. Like I know Bale is not what he once was, and that’s fine. But that squad is good enough to beat Brighton without Kane. It’s just ludicrous. I just think that Mourinho has lost the room at this point, and it sounds like that really happened at half time in the Liverpool game. He probably hangs on to a job because of the cup final, but in honesty that looks grim at this point.

Hey look at that! We picked up a couple of CBs on Deadline Day!

Because Nat Phillips is literally our only actual CB that is fit.

I begin to wonder with Kabak coming in if this means the end for Joel "The Glass Man" Matip.

Both of these new guys will have to improve significantly to get near Matip’s level of play.

I'm thinking Kabak has the chops. Besides, at the moment Matip's 'level of play' is 'lying on the treatment table.'

The guy is injured more often than not.
