That was freaking awesome. Just a molten, nuclear pop.

Really really good return, and a nuclear pop. Earlier in the night in Smackdown Cena got a huge pop. But this was different, and Punk played it up and did a return promo that made sense, set up a match, gave out some ice cream.
I'm still always convinced that Punk is just a natural heel, especially in AEW and its going to happen.
That tag team match though, I really think that AEW needs producers or bookers that can push them away from the low psychology get all our stuff in wrestling.
I'm interested in where they go with Punk, Personally if Bryan comes in, I have a Punk vs Bryan feud almost right off the bat.

That tag match was really fun. Keep in mind they’re showing something different for fans that hadn’t tuned in yet, or WWE fans who were curious.

Recorded Rampage was it was on at midnight here.
Woke up any my 4 year old wanted YouTube. Whined that I put on Rampage (needed to see the Punk debut).
AEW opening music, he's whining about YouTube
Crowd chants for CM Punk, he's whining about YouTube.
"Cult of Personality" hits, crowd blows, he's quiet, and joy exudes from his face. Crawled up on the couch with me and just took it in.
Me: hey buddy, do you like CM Punk?
My boy: yeah... Punk!
He's a hell of a lot smarter than I was at his age.
Me as a kid: durrr me like Ultimate Warrior durrr

That's always a nice moment right. When did you drop an elbow on your kid and proclaim yourself the Champion of the World?

Saw them live in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl in the early 90's when they opened for the Rolling Stones.
One of the greatest concerts of my life.
100,000 screaming fans.
Cult of Personality was the second best live song that night. Honkytonk Woman with the inflatable dancing girls was unbelievable.
I miss being young.

I hated early story lines. I think the guys who run the company (other than Omega) should be low end jobbers and enhancement talent who rarely get high profile angles and stories, as opposed to their shoving themselves to the top... But it's going to be really hard to not watch for the next little bit.

I mean Cody pretty much is enhancement talent at this point. They give him enough good wins to give him the credibility to put over new stars.
I think once their current title run is done, The Bucks will move down the card as well. Really hoping they give Santana and Ortiz a run with the belts.

About the time he could walk.
It's not uncommon for him to stand on our bed and demand to be bodyslammed.

What's the o/u on the amount of CM Punk chants at Summerslam tonight? Wonder if WWE preemptively pumps in crowd noise.

Why the squash
They follow something up that looked so well planned, even if it's due to whatever is going on with sasha, and then they squash bianca
Just like kofi vs brock

This show has been completely bizarre. Ridiculously long entrances, dead crowd, weird booking. So much time-wasting.

You don't want to take the chance that Becky has a ton of ring rust and drops like a fart on Taco Tuesday. Its a shame because it makes Bianca look bad.
Overall this has not been a good card.
Randy Orton and Riddle over Styles and Godzilla.
Seemed really short and just as things were getting going it was over. Pretty basic Smackdown or Raw match
2.5 out of 5
Bliss beats Eva Marie
I like Alexa, I've seen her work at house shows and she can work. She's one of the best character workers in the company. But putting her in the ring against Eva is a waste of time. The match structure was there to protect the fans from having to see how horrible Eva is in the ring. Poor Alexa deserves better,
0 out of 5
Priest beats Shemus
Actually a surprisingly good match with both wrestlers being able to show off a bit. 3.5 out of 5
Uso's beat the Mysterios.
Honestly I thought this was a way to turn Dominic heel. The problem is Dominic has no charisma, and frankly Rey has been fighting the same match for 20 years. The USO's are quite simply excellent in the ring. Honestly it was ok, but nothing special happened, 3 out of 5
Becky Lynch beats Bianca
No rating. I mean the segment was cool and I understand the need for a squash. But Bianca is good enough to carry Becky in a 4 minute match if they did that. Instead we get this great awesome segment, and then the pancake
0 out 5
Drew beats Jinder
Frankly this was a bathroom break match. Its amazing how far Drew has fallen. This was a short Raw match, the sword thing is just stipid
1 out of 5

Maybe the Creative Staff took in too many Vegas nights and wrote this show on a peyote high.
