Default Punctured McDonald's Sweet & Sour Sauce

Am I the only one experiencing this phenomenon? Sweet and sour sauce from McDonalds that has been punctured before being served to you. This happens to me at all sorts of locations around town. It drives me crazy!, and while this may just be a gear grinder, it really seems like a health violation (unrefrigerated opened sauce), not to mention incredibly weird!

Can anyone shine a light on this?

To make it even weirder, it seems to be limited only to sweet and sour sauce, hot mustard for instance is always fine.

What's the deal?

The new goggles also do nothing.

When they're transported it's not like they're stacked neatly or something, so the sharp edge of one poking into the top of another as they're jostled doesn't seem unusual. I've had a BBQ one like that I'm sure.

Improper opening of the box the sauce comes in. There is a line drawn on the box for where to safely cut, and often somebody will just disregard and cut their own way.

Or at least that was the most common cause in the late 80s when I worked there.

But it's weird it's only one flavor. You'd expect the same amount of defects or accidents across thr board.

I think you've made some enemies my friend. And... they know your weakness.

Great now I have this image in my head of some mouse happily humping away at a punctured sweet and sour containing while laughing and yelling in its squeeky voice "Take that human"

Perhaps you could just ask the dude and McD's why your sweet and sour sauce is punctured?

(Then watch him shrug his shoulders, only to snicker as he turns away while you leave)
