Bennett is on a 1 game point streak.
Will Hanifin have 2 beauty games in a row?
Can Johnny continue with his positive momentum?

Come on 3 in a row baby.

I'm guessing his agent knows full well that Calgary tried to move him all summer and clearly didn't get a lot of interest.

So whining now may actually hurt his client's chances on his next contract. Unlucky or not the guy has a 4-13 goal split when on the ice five on five this year. Toss in the stick infractions and that's dog house.

Brodie-Stone has historically been a great pairing but let’s see if that still holds true...excellent 3rd pairing regardless.

My main question is whether Hanifin/Andersson can hold their own defensively.

I understand why they are going with Rittich again, but they HAVE to start getting Talbot more starts soon.

Rittich has faded in the second half both previous seasons, and if they don't want it to happen again they have to get him some rest.

Dude is on pace to start 65 games. Not ideal by any measure.

Getting chucky ready on his off wing for when T.Hall comes to town

He has a Ryan O’Reilly vibe and is a player I definitely don’t want to see back in our division on a team like Colorado. Go all in Tre!

Big big test tonight and I think the perfect measuring stick for this group at the exact right time. 3 games above 500 is so, so much better than 1 and will propel this team in a big way.

Tkachuk hatty
Gaudreau
Lucic

5-1 flames

Throwing Talbot in against a hot Stanley cup winning team isn’t a recipe for success imo

I agree. But this is a difficult week in which to find games for Talbot. If he starts tonight, that leaves Rittich with a six-day gap between starts. If he plays v. Dallas on Weds, then Rittich is left with eight days between games.

I think there are better opportunities to split the workload in the last two weeks of the month with a run of eight games in a 2:6 home/road split, and in December, when there are multiple home games v. Eastern teams.

Agreed with the caveat that he hurt his knee last year on New Year's Eve and played through it.

We don't really no the impact, but he may not have faded at all last year if he didn't tweak something.

With all that said, his chance of injury is certainly higher if you over play him.

Rittich faded in the 2nd half last season because he was injured

Talbot needs to play better and earn the trust of the coaches in order for Rittich to get more rest.

It will help Talbot significantly when he is not starting games v. the best team in the League. His next game will be in Arizona on Sat.

Still not a fan of all the dislike for Frolik - he is a good player that should be in the line-up over guys like Reider
