It's not that hard. Just show your work. Like most other products do (to some extent).
|
But it’s also likely being done as an expansion of production which while decreasing emissions intensity per barrel is going to increase total emissions.
Essentially can you say you are reducing per barrel intensity of C02 emissions under this law? It’s unclear right now.

This is absolutely appalling.

Honestly, the fact that these ####ers got away with it and are not being prosecuted is pretty wild.
Phillips is a very confident, intelligent, and articulate person; with a passion for policy. These are the people you want in politics.
Instead, slobs like Craig Chandler are the only ones that can survive

Any update from David Parker on how Nenshi’s win proves the NDP are anti democracy? Wasn’t he babbling about something along those lines a few months back?

How can they be 'Anti Democracy' its literally in their Party's name. It's what the 'D' stands for!

85% of their membership voted and he got 86% of the vote... You know who wins elections with majorities that large? Dictators!!!
In the last presidential election in Russia, they had a 77% voter turnout and Putin won 88% of the vote. Proof the Alberta NDP are commies, like those dirty Russians!!! Except Putin, he's cool.

The first half of this is actually pretty close to a couple of the tweets I saw from random Conservative operatives yesterday.

Also the leader of the Alberta Liberals (who?) said that the ANDP has become a "cult of personality".
The cognitive dissonance is deafening.

I saw some like that (they cited Assad and not Putin because RWers like Putin). I asked them if their theory applied to rural AB ridings and their vote splits.

There's still an Alberta Liberal party?

Nenshi has flaws, and obviously is kind of an outsider to the party itself (my purist son doesn't like the result). But IMO no one better comes to mind to take on Smith in terms of rhetoric, PR, messaging, whatever you want to call it. He should crush her in a debate. Notley (who I like a lot) was too polite and let Smith utter falsehoods without much pushback at all. Nenshi is not one to let thosethings slide.

I think my favourite part of this is the UCP and their supporters acting as though they were really hoping it would be Nenshi. It’s hilarious. As if you wouldn’t be salivating over any of the others because it would be another 70-75 seat majority.

That debate was so disappointing as a NDP and, specifically, Notley supporter. I don't expect a repeat with Nenshi at the podium.

It would be "must-watch TV", although, I highly doubt Smith is still UCP leader heading into the next election.
