Opinions are frequently wrong. Society just allows you to have a wrong opinion.
Yeah, I can't argue with that. That is because expertise no longer matters. All opinions are equitable. SMEs are actually now looked down upon, while Wikipedia warriors are granted much more reverence, because they aren't eggheads and can speak in the common vernacular. Even if they don't comprehend half of what they say and their opinion is full of holes, amongst other things. For some reason, society has forgotten the importance of the three E's - education, experience, and expertise - and has instead embraced the three O's - opinion, omission, and obfuscation. We get what we demand.
I enjoyed this one. Listen with an open mind and not too seriously. It was a good and fun discussion. And Bill cracks up every time Ben switches over to read an ad.

Bill Maher is the worst. His keystone bull**** during Obamas years was so ridiculous. Basically said the quiet part quiet...but actually said it on air after spending months suggesting that killing Keystone was actually because dirty Canadian Oil was the ticket to true change on earth.
"Keystone is DEAD. It's DEEADDDD" *audience claps and cheers like seals
"and yes, it does look like it was done for protectionist reasons, but the point is we have to start doing something about oil consumption in this world".

I'd hope what is happening in Russia right now with their government turning totalitarian ends up putting a dent in people's passion on this issue. Such a tiresome discussion.

Have either of these men ever “respectfully” agreed with anyone?

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
