I would think his lawyers have advised him to put a muzzle on regarding the topic. Stakes are pretty high on this.
October seems pretty reasonable. I believe that is when the transaction was supposed to close.
Who knows at this stage, but I really don't see much of a chance at a settlement either. Twitter doesn't have much to lose by going after Musk for the full $54.20 (less the current stock price, as damages).

I love that plastic film you can cover your couches with. HOWEVER, it should only be put on for 1 purpose, and that's prior to people coming to visit that you don't want to stay long. After that, those covers should be removed, stored away & only brought out again for company you want to leave in a hurry.
