Real are on the cusp of falling apart here. Gotta imagine Ramos will get his traditional red to send them down to 9.

It's insane to think the manager of the two time defending CL winners is facing the sack, but here we are. Benzema was absolutely terrible though, should be dropped for a while going forward.

Diego Costa scored again today, and got sent off for a second yellow for celebrating in the crowd. It's good to have him back.

Man United have essentially bullied Sevilla into backing down of their ridiculous ticket prices. Good stuff.

Quote:
Manchester United will charge Sevilla supporters £89 each to see their team at Old Trafford after the Spanish club refused to change their own prices for away fans.

José Mourinho’s team face Sevilla in the last 16 of the Champions League and those who travel to the first leg at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on 21 February will have to pay £89 as a visiting fan, £35 more than Liverpool supporters were charged for the 3-3 draw at the same venue in November.

United attempted to get Sevilla to lower the cost but, having failed to persuade them to do so, the club have said they will respond by hiking up the prices to the same amount for away supporters at Old Trafford in the second leg in March. That additional revenue will be used to subsidise United fans £35 each for their ticket in Seville, in keeping with the £54 Liverpool fans paid, with any extra money donated to the Manchester United Foundation.

[...]

Sevilla have also decided to subsidise their fans at Old Trafford so they do not have to pay the full £89. “With this subsidy, the club will guarantee that no club members pay more than the €60 initially specified,” Sevilla said in a statement. “Sevilla will be in contact with Uefa over both Manchester United’s failure to make 5% of tickets available to away fans, as well as the club’s price increase after a formal application for an away allocation. Sevilla will also look to guarantee that no Sevillista pays a penny more than any Manchester United fan for similar tickets – as competition regulations dictate.”

Haha! I never thought I'd say it but good on United.

Sevilla probably thought they saw some saps they could take advantage of and United stood their ground. Well done.

Man City might be playing the reserves in the reverse tie at this rate. Total mismatch.

Strange game, after the beginning Spurs were pretty much in control, but yeah they should also be out of this tie too.

Spurs looked really good for probably 35/45 minutes and totally dominated. Juventus with a couple penalties and offside goal though, and they trail 2-1. Really Spurs looked good though and hopefully now that they have settled they come out and even things up in the second half.

I'm sure Mourinho appreciates Pochettino, resting Alderweireld.

Not a good result for Juventus - but could also easily seem them squeaking out a 1-0 at Wembley.

Spurs in the drivers seat for sure though.
