Coronato starts his freshman year as the top line right wing. Hey, the Flames need a top line right wing...

MSU played 2 against Ohio State this weekend. They scored 3 goals in the 2 games (a 2-1 win on Friday and a 5-1 loss today).

Nodler had 3 points -- 2 goals and 1 assist. He now has 7 points in 8 games, which is tied for the team lead.

Mattson got back into the lineup for both games after missing a few. He still has no points on the season, but it sounds like he made a great block late in the third last night to ensure the win.

So that makes 4 pts in 8 games for Boltmann? Maybe he’s not a total waste of a pick….

He had an assist too, so 5 pts in 8 games.

It would be great if he proved the doubters wrong and lived up to his draft position.

I’m really high on Sergeev. His name Arsenni is cool and he has good measurements being 63.

Plus he’s Russian. But the fact he’s playing in the USHL means he’s committed to the NA game and system. This kid could be a real good prospect 2 seasons down the line. Heck he’s already doing great I’m the league Hellybuck starred in before he went the NCAA route. Him Yan Dannil and Ilya are a good move towards scouting Russians again. Man why can’t we have a good Russian goalie? Checheleev sp* and Sergeev give me hope.
