That was a really fun Bayern/Dortmund match, but I can understand the Dortmund sentiment that they got jobbed on the refereeing.

Despite obviously going for a Bayern win, I have to agree with him.

The penalty awarded against Dortmund was, in the strictest sense, a penalty. But I hate those. He's going down, he's handled in the box, but there is so much else going on.

The non-penalty for Dortmund seemed like a far more deserving penalty, I didnt get a great look at it so I'm not sure, but for the ref to not even go to the sidelines to review it seems stupid. Maybe he calls it, maybe he doesnt, but at least go and have a look.

Yeah, Dortmund certainly have a right to be bitter about this one.

Lots of A-Teams against B-Teams being rolled out today.

Looking forward to the Bayern match tomorrow though. They're through and top the group and Barca need a win so I'm hoping that Bayern put the boots to them.

Hate Liverpool...but they made impressive work out of what was a tough group in the Champions League.

I actually dont know what team you support. If its actually AC then hating Liverpool makes a lot of sense.

I pegged you for Juve fan.

My family is from Calabria, so really there is no team in Serie A right now with Reggina being in Serie B, so once they were demoted I didn't really have strong ties to any single team in Italy.

I tend to cheer for all the Serie A teams to do well in the Champions League, and generally just have a soft spot for different Italian players and cheer for them to do well.

When I was a kid I loved Maldini, Nesta, Inzaghi, and Pirlo so I cheered for AC Milan a lot (including the CL Final collapse against Liverpool which is where most of the hatred comes from).

When Pirlo went to Juventus and joined up with Buffon and Chiellini in Juventus I started to support them a little more. Plus my family in Italy have always supported Juventus more, so as I kid I'd get a lot of Juventus gear. And we went to a game in Turin, so that's kind of led to me becoming more of a Juventus fan.

In reality though my strongest ties in all of football are to the Italian National Team as a whole.

Normally, I'd be expecting that B team exactly like you are buuut....Bayern hate Barca so they just might go for it.

Barca are working on their 'Dead Cat Bounce' with Xavi at the moment, but that might not be enough, even against a thoroughly disinterested Bayern.

Matic at CB and Lingard in midfield, I guess? Certainly interesting. Looking forward to seeing the likes of Amad and Elanga, and maybe a debut or two for those youngsters on the bench.

too bad Hannibal Mejbri is playing at the Arab Cup with Tunisia right now. Would have been an ideal opportunity for him tonight.

The Tottenham EL game has been postponed due to the Covid outbreak at Spurs.

Damned Spurs...they really Spurs'd up this whole 'hopelessly virulent disease' fiasco.

I do suppose if one wants to contract a terrible disease North London near the Spurs' stadium is the place to do it.
