On the actual game front Demiral had a hell of a half there, looks like a quality player.

This last 20 mins of united remind me of the fergie teams when they were down, with the constant pressure, the crowd right noise building

Could feel the goals coming

Perfect, keep him around a while longer. I was a little concerned that a bad performance today and Liverpool this weekend would make them realise where the issue is.

I mean you knew they were coming back, every time Ole gets to just about dead they rally. He's like a cat with 9 lives (although the cat obviously is better tactically).

Arteta and Ole always know how to pull one out when they're just about dead.

It's great for the rest of the Premier League to have those two stay in command.

Keep him in charge as long as possible!

The last thing I want is for United to not have to worry about contending in another competition.

Granted I'd prefer it to be the Europa League, but you take what you can get.

I want my actual thanks sir. I even said that Ronaldo brings magic when you need it most so I think you actually owe me 2.

You're welcome.

In the Euro Cup I was terrified of his crosses in that final against Italy.

It's always hilarious when #OleIn trends, because it's 90% rival fans using the hashtag.

Tricky match up tonight for The Spurs against Vitesse in the Europa Rumbelows Conference thingy.

Difficult decisions ahead for Nuno. Does he go for it as a route into next year's Europa or hope they can show some signs of improvement and get in via the league?

Apparently none of the players who started in the league last weekend have made the trip, so the decision was made to play a weaker side. That said, you would think that Dele, Winks and such should be able to get the job done...

So what's the strategy?

Hope you can finally win a trophy to send Harry off with and get that coveted Europa league spot or aim to improve on last season. Tricky as there's a few teams there that could pose some problems for The Spurs.

Well obviously the strategy is to put more effort toward the league than this 3rd rate cup? I think they should've sold Harry this past summer, but frankly if there are no bids (or nothing worth considering), he's stuck. And we've played for trophies with him in the squad and he hasn't done anything in those matches...so at some point he's part of the problem.

From The Spurs and the other lesser teams in Europe I wouldn't necessarily trash it as a third rate trophy. It's there to help teams an be l provide a gateway to the Europa league for those that struggle to make qualify via the conventional route.

And Kane. He's big time part of the problem... now. He more than played his part in seasons past but the Levy effect and ongoing lack of ambition has finally got to him. Don't wan me to say that I saw it coming but...
