^ Only if they uploaded the security footage to you tube like they did with that chick falling in the water fountain.

Look, I'm not saying I'm proud of what happpened, but I do regret not having any personal footage of the events that transpired that evening.
EDIT: I will say I'm very glad my idea of going down at 3 AM in my underwear to throw pizza at the flamingos was quashed by my roommate.

So people who stay at the Aria and have money are fake, and people who destroy rooms and run around in their panties are real?

Copious amounts of rum can make a man do strange things.
I've stayed at the Aria, too. It wasn't a generalization, just an observation. I met lots of good people there, too. I just found the weird old dudes splashing major coin and dragging 21 year-old prostitutes around with them to be mildly amusing.
I too hope to be that successful one day.

No, but Aria definitely has more higher limit tables than lower limit, so it's going to attract more of that crowd. I think the cheapest Blackjack table I found was $20/hand.

I've stayed at 2 hotels in Vegas - Excalibur and the Wynn.
The Excalibur feels dated on the inside. The outside is still very impressive and I had fun walking around it and checking out all the castle decor, but inside looks very generic. I was in one of the new "Widescreen Rooms" which was $80 a night and was nice enough. Reminded me of a Best Western or Holiday Inn style room. For the little time I spent there, it was good. If you're a gamer there are lower stakes games there and they also offer gaming lessons during the week.
I went for a conference with work, and the company put me up at the Wynn. That is a beautiful hotel inside and out. The room I was in was amazing and just walking around there, there is so much to see. It's a little more 'stuffy' there, and more older people but still a lot of fun. The tables are expensive here.

I stayed at the cecil and palliser a few years back... Im guessing the differences were similar.
(I have actually stayed at Excalibur and for the price which you shouldnt be paying more than $50 a night for a widescreen rom, it cant be beat. My first trip was to the stratosphere....now that was a dive and too far from everything.
TI is my favorite for value

I use credit cards for stuff like meals and shopping, but I take a lot of cash for any gambling and tipping. Take a lot of $1 bills for tipping. When you're gambling and you order a drink (on the house while you're gambling) tip $1/drink. My wife and I tipped $1/drink and our friends who were playing slots one row over tipped just $1. The cocktail waitress kept coming back to us, but not our friends. You can tip more if you want.

^ This is very good advice. I always go through hundreds of $1 bills in Vegas.

^+1. But I use chips instead of bills when tipping at the casino.
And if you put all your 'tipping' singles in a money clip you can feel like a pretty big deal down at the cracker factory.

Depends on what you play. If you don't play table games you won't have chips to tip with. I just play slots... oh boy, I may be approaching senior citizen status 27 years too soon.

Alright we've got our trip booked, staying at Aria for 4 nights in April. Anyone have any experience doing roller coasters in Vegas?

The one at NYNY was pretty good. Much more intense than I was expecting. Other than that I think Circus Circus is the only place that has one. Unless you're driving to Primm.

Stratosphere has some wild rides, but I think the roller coaster is gone.

Take a cab down to Stratosphere and ride the rides on the top. The Big Shot is awesome and Insanity is freaky as hell. Google them if your not sure what they are. The coaster at NYNY was fun too, I felt like it was really quick but a blast while riding!

Anyone been to Marquee at the City Centre and can recommend the best place to get a table for bottle service on a Saturday night?
16 dudes heading for a bachelor party and staying in the hotel for a couple events so might have some sway. I can't imagine right next to the dance floor is the best kind of table with that many guys. We want to be right in it, but slightly set off with room for ourselves and hanger-on ladies. Also not the most expensive table either as its probably unnecessary. Would like to think the party will come to us a bit. Or at least we'll probably thnk it is regardless.

I'd say if you can get any table at Marquee on a Saturday night, with 16 guys and no girls, for under $5,000, you should probably take it.
