So . . . Is the Archie franchise dead now?
Marvel kills characters all the time.
Also, remember Archie Meets the Punisher? Perhaps he will join the X-Men or something.

There a rumor going around that there will be a comic book called death with archie where he comes back from the grave as a zombie, my gut feeling is that it was a joke.
I would almost assume that at some point after 75 years they were out of ideas and want to pause things.

Take it you didn't read the link in the OP. That's actually going to be a thing.
Not a huge fan of where they took the Life with Archie series, but hey, at least they didn't go the direction of Thor.

I always buy an Archie double digest before a beach vacation. People usually laugh but by the end of the trip everyone has borrowed it.

Before there were gameboys, walkmans, i-phones, portable DVD players, Archie Comic Digests were how parents got kids to shut-up on long car drives. Archie, and Invisible Ink games.
They have always been well-positioned in super-market check-out lines.
That Archie kid has been in High School for a long time.

Nothing beats an Archie comic when you are pooping in an outhouse at the lake. Plus 35 in there, smells like crap, spiders and flies all over you... but you are chuckling away walking down nostalgia lane.

Invisible ink games! I was trying to describe those to my wife the other day and she had no idea what they were. I loved those - in fact I would pay top dollar to get my hands on some now.
