Ya I've seen about 4 or 5 episodes and it is funny.
Fx has renewed it for a 2nd season.

Could have done without the image of Frodo yanking it in the shower. But the show is a brilliant concept, and the site of a guy in a dog suit smoking a homemade bong was brilliant.
they even pinned down a dogs obsession with his ball.

This is such a great show, I had to sift to the bottom of the search results to even find this. Hard to believe. The fourth and final season has started airing in the states, not sure when it'll be here, but I'm excited for the new episodes and to finally have questions answered.
I love the mix of dark/raunchy comedy, drama and even sci fi that the show brings.
Sucks that it couldn't gain enough of a following to run longer but for what it is, I'm a little surprised they made it this far without cancellation. Anyways, glad it's back. Where are the other Wilfred fans at?
Edit: Why is this not in the entertainment sub forum? lol

The thread was probably created before the sub forum was. The tech talk and entertainment sub forums are relatively new. But a mod will move it if they find it.
I tried to get into this show the first season but just couldn't. I think I'll give it another try. It definitely sounds like my kinda thing.

It's a special show for sure, nothing quite like it on TV. I'm excited for the final season, although sad that there aren't more episodes on the horizon. Really creative idea, a bit raunchy at times, but always funny.
Took 3 or 4 episodes to really connect with the show but it's been hours of laughter ever since. It's on Netflix folks.....give it a go!

Exactly, I wasn't thrilled with the first couple episodes cause it seemed to strange to me, and I thought the Wilfred's humour was a bit juvenile/awkward, but then you realize they're trying to give a dog's perspective on everything (to everyone else he's just a simple dog) and how that can be funny to us, if explained through dialogue. Now I love it.
The sci-fi and psychological twists are so intriguing and in certain episodes can have you tripping a bit. Sometimes I don't know what the hell is going on, what's real and what isn't and I kinda really like that. Just a unique, dark and often painfully funny show with a lot of awesome cameos. Can't recommend it enough.
