So rumbling through Disney+ and came across the Star Wars Vintage section. Besides the two battle for Endor movies and the Ewoks animated series and the excellent original Clone Wars series (Tartakovsky). They are releasing the 90's Droids series, and the rumor out today is the release of Detours.

Saw those too. Loved the ewoks movies as a kid, but am pretty suee i'll taint those memories if I watch them now. It'll be Superman IV all over again.
Also didn't realize how much I missed Tartakovsky until I started watching Primal.

One of the things that I liked in Rise of Vader were that there were groups of Clone Troopers that refused order 66, of course the books were written before the biochips story line. Instead the theory were that the troopers were bred to be absolutely loyal to the Supreme Chancellor and order 66 was one of the contingency plans that was pounded into them (There was also an order to remove the Chancellor, but it would never be enacted)
So Vader was sent out to deal with Clone Troopers who disobeyed order 66. Palpatine was using these missions to help Anakin in his recovery and to get over his self doubt.
So Anakin went around slaughtering clone troopers.

Being a huge fan of the CW animated series, this would be hard yet awesome to watch.
It would be, but its funny because with the exception of Cody, we know the fate of most of our favorite troopers.
Palpatine wanted to make sure that Vader drove home the point that Palpatines authority was absolute, and also drive home the point that Vader was his emmisary in all things. The best way to do that, slaughter.
Plus Anakin was in a really bad state of self doubt in the book to the point that Palpatine was actually despairing that he would never become whole and a committed Sith. Then Vader went out and didn't do well in his first fight against a Jedi, and it got worse. Palpatine at one point was wondering if it would be better just to send Anakin back to Mustafar where he found him.
I'd love to see a short series in the Clone Wars fashion of Anakin's transition to Vader, I think it could be amazing.

Jee, I never thought to ask if anybody here wanted them first but I just donated ~75 or 30 years of Star Wars books at the Beacon Heights interfaith store on the weekend. They would probably still be there
They'd been sitting in boxes in both my mom's basement and my storage cage for years
No Tag and Bink, though

On the books side, I have most of the EU legends stuff and even pre legends (Splinter of the Minds eye, the Han Solo stories etc).
Its funny with books though, I just stopped buying the new EU books, the Disney books are just so poorly written, and most of them are designed around young readers. I remember reading aftermath, and outside of a couple of things with the ending and founding of the First Order, they were just bad, and boring.
So yeah, while I've recently re read the Thrawn Trology the Jedi Academy trilogy and the Hand of Thrawn book pairing. I might also dive into legacy where Jacen goes Sith (Thanks for ripping that one off poorly Disney). but I can't go back through the Vong series or the Kilik war series, those two didn't hold my attention.
Even the new Thrawn books, weren't that great.

Matt Latner leaked that he's set to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in a future Animated Star Wars project. I expect that will be Bad Batch, and we're going to get Anakin showing up pre order 66.
Also there's a rumor that Dr Aphra is going to show up at some point or make a cameo. She's become pretty popular as well.

Disney Plus has announced plans to celebrate Star Wars Day 2021 on May the 4th.
Along with the previously-announced debut of the animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” the platform is also dropping the “Star Wars”-themed “Simpsons” short “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens From Its Nap,’” as well as two bundles of virtual artwork for fans. All of the content will be available on the platform on May 4 at 12:00am PT.
Between that and Star Wars the Old Republic, the 4th should be a star wars day. Maybe I'll throw in my copy of Space Hunter Adventures in the Forbidden Zone as well.
