Well I'm in the Hood and its half-raining and half-snowing.

I do not recall this being mentioned on the forecast! There are weather-people who have dropped a very important ball!!

For a little while, it looked like I was living in a snow globe, but it seems to have mostly stopped now.

Sorry guys, I should have warned everyone. I took the Cayman out of the garage yesterday, got it cleaned up and running right and put the insurance back on it. This was inevitable.

Fortunately for me, I left the winters on my Audi and drove that today because I knew this would happen, but I guess that doesn't help the rest of you who have to suffer for my transgressions against the weather gods. My bad... I sacrificed some livestock, so hopefully it's just a one-day thing.

Whiteout in Cochrane right now, in case NW Calgary wants to brace themselves a little. Looks really pretty though.

Is it just me, or has it been a lot windier this spring than usual?

^Less than 1 km/h difference between the last 30 days this year (16.5 km/h) vs the same 30 day period last year (15.7 km/h). However, 9 days in the past month have had max winds over 40 km/h vs 2 last year.

I'm about 99% certain that most of those max wind days were when I was out on my bike, dagnabbit.
