Where the eff do they go?
I use sock sorters and haven’t list a sock in decades. They’re round with little spoke-like things that hold socks together in pairs.

Me too, and I swear baggy jeans are just starting to come back in style again. When I'm out & about, I've noticed a few teens lately wearing super baggy jeans (usually women) with rips in the knees, like Salt-N-Pepa style.

It's nice being so old & out of style that eventually you end up back in style by accident.

I literally just went to 7 coops to try to find Tiramisu Oreos.

I was asked to pick them up because the coop flyer suggested they were on sale and there was some sort of craving involved so, sure, no problem. The first place didn't have them, so I grabbed the carrot cake ones. But I had forgotten to get milk and green onions so I stopped at a second one. They didn't have the right oreos either. Thus began a mission. The mission failed. Apparently coop advertised the things, but no one has ever actually seen them on the shelves. They didn't sell out, apparently they were never there in the first place. That's kind of annoying.

The carrot cake ones are good though, so, consolation oreos.

Whittakers chocolate on sale at London Drugs. Works for me as their chocolates also come in phenomenal gluten and dairy free selections such as Burnt Almond and Ghana Mint. hmmm super yum. Best thing (as well) is that they're the large so-called family-size bars.

A thread from 2012 was just bumped... "Urgent advice needed on trip cancellation"... and it RGMG that I read through all that thinking it was recent, only to find it was 2012, AND there was not posted resolution about whether the got full or partial cancellation, or just rescheduled. It's like a cliff-hanger movie... sigh.... Anyone know?

I just can't wait until whale tails are in style again, so I don't feel like such a weirdo.

Youtube and how it displays the name of the video at the top. It's often truncated, and you can't just hover over the title to see the video title, so you have to "watch on Youtube" to see the name of the video, beyond "Watch how this amazing...". Minor GG, I know. But it annoys me all the time.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to stop at the midtown Coop to check there too on my way in to the office in a few minutes. I just can't take this defeat lying down.

To contribute to the socks convo, I wear these socks every day:

https://www.marks.com/en/copper-sole...%5Bsize%5D=ONE

I hate socks that go high as they irritate my skin. But most ankle socks sit too low and either look bad or even start to slip off. These are great though, sit at just the right spot. And as mentioned above they look great with shoes and shorts in the summer. Check em!

Socks like this are my preference but I keep longer ones for the winter as I have to walk my dog in the mornings and sometimes the cold wind can go up your legs.

Seems like most places are going to multi factor identification for logging into accounts or doing almost anything related to an account. But it grinds my gears when they only give you one option and that is text message. Not everyone is going to have access to their phone or access to a network when they are accessing their account.

anyone else wake up with a nasty untouchable headache today?

Seems I'm not the only one in my house with this issue.

No booze involved either so it wasn't "earned".

Hate to say it but hope it's not covid. Friends have had it and headache was their only symptom. One guy said it felt like a hangover headache.

Starting tomorrow, we all must park on the street, as our back alley gets paved. Based on the way my current street-parker neighbours park, with huge spaces in between their vehicles, this is not going to go well.
