I was just listening to The Beths on a random shuffle and this song came up. I had no intention of listening to Christmas music right now. However, when I started listening to the lyrics (which I hadn't paid attention to in a while), it felt right for the times. Their somber version of this song make it feel different somehow. When I went to look up the video and watched it for the first time, I almost wept. How prophetic.
I know it's not Christmas, but have yourself a merry little Christmas anyway.

Ok, I'm going off the reservation. I caught part of the masked singer this week, and one of the contestants Kitty was revealed as Jacki Evancho, who does a lot of opera big voice stuff. When I listened to her sing it actually made my heart hurt. She also did a cover of With or Without you that I thought was unbelievable.
I think she was a runner up in America's got talent when she was 10.
