If I had to guess, nothing major in DC but at least a few state legislatures see violent attacks. I’m also guessing we see at least one Democrat murdered or taken hostage. Likely some random Dem, like a state level AG or something, maybe even lower level.

Honestly I tend to think that while you're right and that it will happen more likely at a state level. It could just as easily be a republican that's executed as a traitor to their cause.

It didn’t come across dismissive at all. The early images were of the big crowd, police ‘opening the fence’, and a bunch of ‘protesters’ wandering around, between the velvet ropes, and seemingly goofing around. These folks are not capable of a serious coup. Only later did we see real violence and hear evidence of some people being more organized.

Once the VP and lawmakers were safe, it really was just a building. What is there to do at that point?

The good news is that serious violence will turn off the majority of their supporters, the right wing pretty much abandons their own when they actually go on a killing spree, they are more interested in the glorious idea of a bloodless coup than the grim reality of the death squads and children blown up in the day care

“QAnon members have discussed posing as National Guard soldiers, believing that it would be easy for them to infiltrate secure areas,” according to the document, which added that members have been crowdsourcing images to surveil the security perimeter.

The FBI also said it had observed people downloading and sharing maps of sensitive locations in Washington and discussing how those facilities could be used to interfere in security during the inauguration.

Luckily a lot of these QAnon-ers are gravy seal/cosplay types that probably couldn't fit in the uniforms.

More terrifying is there are elements of the military or former military that ascribe to that line of thinking. Like these two National Guardsmen that had to be removed because of ties to White Supremacist militia groups
