So...the Bar in the first Episode was Space-Cheers in a Boston a long, long time ago in a Galaxy far, far away?

I assume the dude who leaves in cuffs was Cliff, the stumbling bartender was Woody and Carl Weathers was Sam Malone?

It looks like this series is taking place in the way outer ring of the GFFA. I have my doubts that we see him showing up on Corellia or Coruscant or Naboo or the Corporate Sector.

And the planet names are probably excluded for a reason, because in terms of the Galaxy, the outer rim is irrelevant and seen as a area inhabited by criminals and pirates and various hives of scum and villany. And probably what's left of the shattered Empire.

Why is there so much talk about Boba Fett? Isn't this 7 years after Return of the Jedi, and therefore wouldn’t Fett still be getting digested by the Sarlacc?

Ive been enjoying the episodes so far, but I’m peeved that they’re only half an hour long. It feels like they just get going and they’re already over. Half of episode 2 was him trying to bust into a moving Jawa fortress, and the other half was trying to capture an egg - which was then just busted open and eaten.

I mean, it’s still entertaining, and the force scene was a fist-pumping moment, but I get the feeling this whole season is just going to feel like watching a single movie.

In the aftermath books there are hints that he survived, a law man on Tattooine found his armor and put it to use scaring criminals

Something that has been bugging me a bit. Maybe a reason can be explained.

Why does he wear his helmet while alone in the ship? Like don't these people ever just fly their ships in their PJs?

They're more then just helmets, they link to the ship and have their own heads up display, and link to the ships targeting system, its like modern fighter plans with the look and shoot system.

At one point in the Star Wars source book that they use as a library for the films, they talked about the helmet being extremely advanced and having things like a 360 degree view without turning your head. Its also why they showed that under the armor there was all kinds of circuitry that he was trying to repair.

My wife could NOT stop talking the entire show about how cute the baby yoda thing was.

I'll admit, it was darn cute.

The show continues to impress, and I'm hooked.

Its amazing that they made the Baby Yoda that adorable and enduring. I mean lets be honest, old Yoda was not all that cute, was a bit abrasive, and in TLJ a bit of a jerk at times.

But the scene where the baby really wanted to help the Mandolorian who didn't realize what he baby was until the end was so well done.

So 24 years. Which means Yoda really aged badly in the end

Too bad the helmet doesn't have a zoom feature so he could stop using that crapy low-res scope. It's just looks so awkward having him hold up a scope to his helmet.

Soo....Episode 3 is going to be an unashamed ripoff of Gremlins? Space Wizard Gremlins?

The Mandalorian is going to feed that little guy after midnight or get him wet or something and the whole Galaxy descends into chaos? Gremlins meets 'Trouble with Tribbles?'

Yeah, the mini-Yoda guy is cute. We get it. Its because hes Gizmo only green.

Does that mean in the episode after we get a broadway musical number, with bat yoda, spider yoda, female yoda, etc...?

No, everyone knows that the Broadway Musical Episode always comes after the shark is jumped.

God I love baby Yoda so much. That part where he is trying to help his wound was just so well done.

This is definitely my favourite thread on CP right now.

The music is also awesome in the show.

Huge fan of the art during the credits too.

I just hope Disney didn’t waste all the good ideas on this show and EP 9 sucks as bad as 8.

The artwork at the end is beautiful, I'm hoping that at some point they release either a book of it or a poster of it. Its so like what you saw with the Ralph McQuarrie art.
