Borna Coric just knocked out Tsitsipas in Vienna in a fantastic match in Vienna. Three set marathon that required a tie-break in set 3.

Rebecca takes the opening set 6-3. Really impressed with how she has improved the consistency of her groundstrokes over the last few months.

I should have posted it earlier as the match just ended with Rebecca winning it 6-3 6-3. As far as the rankings are concerned, it's an upset, but Rebecca was oh so close to beating Caroline Garcia in Guadalajara, she is playing some fine tennis and was certainly the better player today.

Was able to watch last few games.
Marino is a fabulous and also tragic story. So happy she is playing so well. She was clearly better today.

It really is a shame regarding all the abuse directed her way on social media that drove her away from competitive tennis. If anything, tennis twitter is an even more toxic place now than it was 10 years ago when Rebecca walked away from the tour. As you say, it's great to have her back and she's well inside the top 100 with her fine play of late (live rankings has Rebecca at #65), thus that will get her direct entry into the 2023 Aussie Open.

Felix playing some fine tennis again today as he wins the opening set 6-2 over Bublik. This is pretty fun to watch.

6-2 6-3 for Felix in 71 minutes. Into the semi-finals and a potential match versus Carlitos on Saturday.

Without a doubt, he's played some great matches in 2022 (Rotterdam final vs. Tsitsipas, Aussie Open match against Medvedev and French Open 4th round vs. Rafa), but this run he is on right now is incredible. We all know he has a great serve, but it's the defense that is creating break point opportunities and he's cashing in on his chances. Opponents these days are resigned to the fact that if they go a break down, it likely means the set is over.

Charlie just eliminated PCB 6-3 6-4 which setups a popcorn match versus Felix on Saturday.

This is the best timeline, Felix and Shapo both playing lights out tennis currently and have booked themselves in the semi-finals of Basel and Vienna respectively.

Nice opening set from Rebecca winning it 6-3. Playing some fine tennis again tonight, I think she played even better versus Leylah last night, but she continues to be very consistent off both wings.

Looks like we have a downpour in Tampico and the match is suspended.
Edit: Play has resumed, but it sure sounds windy.
