I love watching stories like this: Chara's career comes full-circle, and as a Cup winning HOF-bound NHL legend he goes back and signs a retirement deal with the team that drafted him in the third-round.

Remember when they traded Chara, Muckalt and the 2nd overall pick (Spezza) for Alexei Yashin?
Then they signed Yashin to an 87.5M contract which they had to buy out.
Milbury was amazing to watch in action.

matter of opinion...father time is undefeated, at some point he will totally lose it, like Jagr.
I highly doubt Chara would have looked good playing for the Sens last season so its hard to compare. He wasn't coming here anyway so its irrelevant. Every signing in the league is a shot at the Flames because they get first right of refusal according to some on here.
