Taking a while to get to 5000
|
Got my pre order in for the DE yesterday at Best Buy. Very excited. The only slight disappointment was that the PS+ Collection they showed off yesterday has maybe 2 games I don't already own.

I tweeted Insomniac this morning about whether PS4 owners get a free upgrade to the remastered version of Spider-Man and have yet to hear back but if the conversation in this article is legit it doesn’t look like it will be. And it won’t even be available separate.

I don't think that's right? Sounds like it's exclusive to PS5 for 6 months, when it goes to PC, and then another 6 months after that before it goes to Xbox.
edit: maybe not, I thought I read that earlier but there's an update saying Square Enix won't confirm anything about other platforms.

I caved and also preordered Demon's Souls. Just want a sweet next-gen exclusive on launch day.
Up to a cool grand now. Video game purchases are cut off for the rest of the year lol.

No conversation about XBox pre-orders this morning?
Been a bit of a gong show as websites don't seem to be able to handle the traffic.
Sony gets flak for the "Random" pre-order time but in some ways I prefer that. Setting a specific date and time lets all the bots and site scrappers get set up to have an advantage.

Had a bunch of meetings but I had no problems myself. Seeing chaos online though with them announcing their launch, flooded with bots, ironic.

only site that had issues was Microsoft's site and I assume it was due to people trying to get the monthly finance deal there not knowing its exclusive to EB Games and not coming out until sometime before launch. All other sites have tons of stock.
