I’m also assuming Reginald Barclay will show up at some point too.
It better be as a broken madman, locked away in the deepest depths of the highest security mental institution, where he believes everyone and everything is a hologram. Or better yet, where every one and everything actually IS a hologram.
Reg Barclay signs up for a study on the effects of long term holo-isolation, and ends up living a happy and fulfilled life while working from holo-home as a contractor for Starfleet.

Why is the concept of Moriarty as the security AI so upsetting to some people? It makes sense if you actually watched any TNG.
1. that's not what happened. Data is the security, he used the Moriarty and the bird to trigger them. This is explained in episode
2. using the Moriarty from the TNG episode would be unbelievably stupid. It would probably take over the station. It is you who needs to rewatch, my friend!

Also if I remember right they put Moraiarty into a universe of his own anyways, I doubt they would be able to convince him to become a rent a cop security guard in a warehouse.

I am all aboard the Miles EDWARD O'Brien train for random cameo. That would be by far the most hype cameo possible.
I really do think this is trending towards a DS9 love fest. Changelings and PahWraiths. Maybe even Sisko.
If it was O'Brien and they dedicated an entire episode, remember, in a 10 episode limited run of a final season, but 1 episode to a 'Miles Must Suffer' episode, I would probably admit that the entire season would be redeemed and I'd take back every bad thing I've said.
Now saying that...I think we all know this is trending towards an absolute orgy of memberberries.
You dont cram Voyager in there and Changelings and Moriarty and Lore and all the rest....without really ramping up to a grand Finale.
I'm sure they'll even resurrect Q for this.

They'll bring back Q Jr from Voyager and he'll become frenimies with Jack Crusher.

Before they stole the bounty's cloak, I actually thought they were going to steal the defiant for it's cloak.
The OG Defiant had a cloaking device, but that ship was destroyed in the sixth-last DS9 episode, "The Changing Face of Evil". It was replaced with a new one in the second-last episode, "The Dogs of War", and that second Defiant did not have one.
