Default Playoff Lineups

So after the deadline the Flames are pretty happy with our team. Lots of experience, size, speed and youth along with an in your face tooth busting defence.

Devils shipped off a UFA forward, but also brought in a RFA d-man to help with our inexperienced goaltending tandem.

Alex Radulov was sent to the Islanders for a package of picks and prospects and TJ Brodie was brought in for added depth on the blueline.

Earlier Boyle, Hossa and Beagle were brought in to improve the FO%, leadership, defensive play and scoring.

All of these changes will most likely blow up in our face, but leadership wanted to do everything possible to bring a cup back to NJ.

Center Left Wing Right Wing
1 Bo Horvat Rickard Rakell Marian Hossa
2 Paul Stastny Jason Zucker Nikita Kucherov
3 Jay Beagle David Perron Steven Stamkos
4 Brian Boyle Mikko Rantanen Brian Gionta

1 Justin Schultz Esa Lindell
2 Jake Muzzin Matt Hunwick
3 Zach Werenski Derek Forbort

T.J. Brodie will be slotted into the top 4

Hellebuyck
McCollum

Erik Karlsson will be enjoying one of the many privliages that being a Carolina Hurricane has to offer

We choose to not expose our players to too much hockey

Ovechkin-Barkov-Mackinnon
Larkin-The Nuge-Perry
Eberle-Nylander-Pacioretty
Quenneville-Wennberg-Strome

Doughty-Jones
Trouba-Barrie
Nurse-Murray

Gibson
Neuwirth

That line-up should score goals in BUNCHES but offense has been our problem all year. I suspect a very quick first round exit which is our norm.

Avs have been on a pretty massive losing streak since losing our captain, Getzlaf. I expect a 1st round exit.

Filppula - Scheifele - Lindholm
Miller - Johansen - Backes
Kapanen - Vermette - Rust
Lehtera - Eakin - Hansen

Pietrangelo - Carlson
Gardiner - Kulikov
Benn - Quincey

Schnieder
Budaj

IR: Getzlaf

This team has overperformed all season. The sum is greater than the parts, I guess. We are very happy to be in the playoffs.

Pens were hit by the injury bug at the wrong time. We will likely be without Sedin and Provorov for the entire 1st round and will be missing Ehlers for likely the rest of the season.

Heading into round 1 we still feel that the top 2 lines are deep enough to provide any offense we need. We are hoping that our two headed monster in net can continue to play the way they have been or it could be an early exit for us.

Byron-Toews-Tarasenko
Kuznetsov-McDavid-Kane
Gallagher-Galchenyuk-Shaw
Lehkonen-Grigorenko-Hudon

Subban-Faulk
Alzner-Zadorov
Beaulieu-Enstrom
Schenn

Murray
Crawford

Sharks were waiting to clinch before posting the playoff lineup. Pending injury in the final game, this is what we look like heading into Game 1:

Parise - Crosby - Niederreiter
Silfverberg - Nielsen - Wheeler
Voracek - Z. Smith - Gaborik
Girgensens - N. Shore - Upshall

OEL - McCabe
Byf- Liles
Pyksyk - Folin

Rask
Dell
