Blues/Wild is proving to be the series of the first round, now with three straight overtime games.
Had to start Neuvirth in this one as Gibson was nearing exhaustion and he responded with a big win.
AO who SUCKED during the regular season with his 2nd goal of the series to win it in OT.

Nice comeback in this game by Toronto. They scored 3 goals in the 3rd to tie it up and then win it in OT.
Silver lining is that I injured two more of their players! Berglund and MacDonald out. Bring in the scrubs Toronto!

Another big win. Last year we were up 3-1 and lost in game 7 though. This series looks exactly like last years for me thus far, let’s hope that history doesn’t repeat itself

Defence was great. PP and PK once again did us in. No panic in Cowtown, regroup back in Calgary.

Backup Saros went down with a bad injury at end of regular season. Hoped Miller could handle extended work load.
Unfortunately, he was unable to play game 4 due to fatigue. Cue game 4 started Cal Peterson and backup Jake Paterson.
Then this happens.
Game Notes
Cal Petersen is injured at 16:11 of 2nd period (Sprained Right Ankle)
Jake Paterson enters game at 16:11 of 2nd period

Devils can't clinch as we lose a close one in OT, onto the next one.

Lose our best player and a top D.... Iand we win. Go figure.
Vasilevskiy saw his first game of post season and put up a solid performance, stopping 43 of 45.
Was nice to see our penalty kill finally show up too.
Now, we head back to Philadelphia and hope the home crowd gives us enough nose to carry this momentum through to a game 6 and 7 where we miraculously come back from being down 3-0.
Dare to dream!!

Nice to see our strategy of two good goalies paying off so far. Murray came in and grabbed his first win of the series and we were lucky enough not to face Ryan Miller. We will try to finish off the Habs tomorrow when we return home for game 5.

Not if Jake Paterson got something to say about it.

Certainly not the outcome we were looking for and were missing Rask in this one. Dell did an adequate job but our team just couldn't score.
The good news is that we continue to pepper the Hawks goalies as well and Luongo has been great for them but he's now fatigued. It will be interested to see if we see Luongo tmoorrow or if he goes back to Reimer. regardless, Rask is back between the pipes tomorrow for the Sharks and we are hoping he can steal another one for us!

McPlayoffs makes an appearance and steals a game, but unfortunately his CON is back under 95 now, so he's back in the pressbox while Halak tries to stop a puck.
Maybe the momentum of that epic comeback and carry the Leafs through to a Game 6.
