Despite the calm demeanour, he appears to have a bit of a temper/mean streak to him on the ice. This is actually his 2nd fight. He's played a couple games just going after anything that moved.
He's not all sunshine and rainbows.

Yep, they are on an eastern roadtrip which will make all the game times for the next little while in Eastern Time. It's all 5pm or 1pm starts for the next two weeks.
On the plus side: We have two Sunday's in a row with Heat hockey on Sportsnet as they will be playing the Marlies on the 23rd and 30th. I'm hoping Brandon Astle pulls off some Napoleanic takeover of the broadcast booth and ends up calling the game on TV.

on a positive note, they should get Hanowski back for the weekend (Agostino probably draws into the lineup soon) and with Ramo getting healthy, there should be a goalie on the way soon too. A couple junior guys could be ready to join soon as well (f.e. Kulak and the Giants play against Portland, so that one shouldn't last long ... Klimchuk and Roy play against each other, and Gordon could be out quickly too).

Just a reminder the game is 5:30pm MST 5:00pm (4:30 4:00pm for you BC'ers) so you can follow the Heat game and then watch the Flames vs Oilers!

Such a good sports day. March Madness all day, then the Heat game, then the Flames game.

Interesting goaltender selection here:

It's Dell vs. Tokarski again tonight. Ortio backs up. Roy sits. 8th and final meeting of the season! Heat are 4-3-0-0

Ortio arrived in Hamilton late this afternoon and coaching staff decided to use him as the backup goaltender over Roy.
Coaching staff felt that Dell played a good game against the Bulldogs on Wednesday and decided to award him the start again tonight.

Just as the first penalty expires, Heat take another penalty. This one for tripping.
Edit: Tim Miller was the culprit.

Brett Lyon stepping up into the enforcer type role tonight. He's wanted at Blundon a couple times already in the first. Had to be forcefully removed twice now.

Baertschi with a great chance and absolutely robbed by Tokarski.
Managed to draw a penalty as well. Heat go on their first PP of the game.
