Street back on the ice with his regular line. Maybe just he just had an equipment problem.

FBK has been much better in the 2nd, but I think it's clear the adjustment to the smaller rink in teh first 15 minutes or so really killed the chances of FBK.

Will be interesting to see how they look against the Marlies on Saturday

AHL penalty. Hoffman off for hooking, 1:50 left in the period.

I believe he's still around unofficially as an advisor. I've seen him around the building this season.

Street with a short handed scoring chance! But unable to convert. Jaffray also with a blocked shot on Nygren.
No one could pay me enough to block a Nygren one times after seeing him shoot yesterday.

I would reserve the right to enact the "Chara Act" if I had to go against that.

I'll stand up to it, but am fully allowed to cry and swear profusely on the way back to the bench to shake it off without judgement.

And that's the ballgame folks.

The home AHL all-stars finish with a 7-2 win

Hoffman deserves the MVP award.

Pirri wins MVP.

Bad choice. Hoffman was all over the ice and Pirri wouldn't have had his goals without Hoffman.

From a Heat perspective Ben Street was quite good, had 4 good scoring chances. Chad Billins was a non-factor, not even sure I heard his name once.

How did 16 year old Kylington look? Meant to watch him play this game, but forgot.

1A -2 in a 7-2 blowout not bad for a guy projected to be one of the better d men in the 2015 draft and playing guys who are mostly more than 4 years older than him.

I didn't pay much attention to be honest but Sam Cosentino was very impressed with him

Unfortunately due to work I didn't get to watch this. Much more uneven game then I was expecting though. Figured it would be much closer then this.

Not sure what the interest here might be but the AHL is auctioning off the game worn and signed jerseys here for both the AHL All Stars and FBK: http://stores.ebay.com/ahlauthentic

Billins Jersey: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-AHL-All...item5d4946423c
