Goffin eliminates Milos 6-4 6-2. Didn't see the match, so I can't add any specific details, but Goffin reminds me of a younger Simon, that kid's motor never quits.

Looks like Milos was just having an off day. His numbers were abysmal in giving up numerous break opportunities and serving below 30% on first serves. He also only generated 1 break point against a mediocre server in Goffin.
You just have to hope that he made it through the event healthy and can continue to build towards the grass/hardcourt season.

How come nobody is talking about the fact that Borna Coric just beat Murray, and Coric was a lucky loser to boot?
Wow, that's quite the upset (straight sets as well). Although Coric did win his first ATP title in Morocco last month so obviously he's playing some pretty good tennis lately.
Kuznetsova takes the opening set 6-4. Pretty even match thus far, Genie had the one bad service game early in the first set and that was essentially the difference.

Because Murray is an absolute disaster right now. I thought when Novak lost in the second round of Australia that Murray would easily stay #1 all year, but he's been shambolic, easily the worst #1 player in quite a while. If Roger were playing tournaments he'd be well on his way to #1, instead it looks like maybe it might be Rafa instead who gets there.

Just took a sneak peek at the Italian Open draw, Milos will play the winner of Tommy Haas and Dr. Ivo, if it does turn out to be Karlovic vs. Milos, they should just cut to the chase and go straight to tie-breakers.
Just finished watching Nadal's match. He's looking good. Undefeated on clay this year. I will be rooting for him at the French. He's got a great shot to win it.

I think so, too.
The one thing I've loved about Rafa throughout his career is his passion. It's infectious. I know people give him a hard time about his anal tendencies on the court, especially whilst serving, but he's just such a pleasure to watch.
With his title today, he tied Djokovic for most ATP 1000 tournament wins at 30. Pretty cool.

He's now 30. Time is running out. Just like Roger did, I would love to see him win another major. He has a great shot to win one on clay, I hope he can pull it off.

Speaking of players turning 30, it's Andy Murray's 30th birthday today.
